A fire broke at the Daniel Webster Inn at 149 Main Street in Sandwich during a power outage at 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 27, causing guests to be evacuated from the Jarvis Wing of the Inn Fifteen Sandwich firefighters responded to a call reporting smoke and an electrical smell at the Inn. The Inn was experiencing a "brown out" during a widespread power outage in downtown Sandwich.
