Sheriff James M. Cummings of Falmouth won reelection as Barnstable County sheriff, an office he has held since 1999, on Tuesday evening His Democratic challenger, Randy P. Azzato of Falmouth, conceded the race earlier in the evening, according to John A. Lipman, director of communications for Mr. Azzato's campaign. Upper Cape voters cast 30,278 votes for Sheriff Cummings and 17,599 votes for Mr. Azzato, which represents a 63 percent to 37 percent split.
