While the annual membership meeting, which drew roughly 60 attendees, provided updates on several ongoing reconstruction projects surrounding the West Barnstable Community Building, Hank Farnham, president of the association, also introduced state Rep. Randy Hunt , who opened the meeting by speaking about a new Massachusetts Department of Transportation project that could potentially replace damaged concrete barriers on Route 6. Hunt, who welcomed members to the Tuesday, Jan. 17 meeting, explained that while MassDOT hasn't yet finished drafting its 2018-2022 Capital Investment Plan, he hopes to include Project 607322, which would fund work on overpasses from Bourne to Barnstable.
