The schooner Alice S. Wentworth had a long life and varied career that spanned 111 years, including time spent at the town dock in Woods Hole in the early 1960s. Although destroyed in a winter storm in 1974, the boat's story lives on as model boat builder Tom Lauria presents "Alice S. Wentworth: the Ship and the Model" at the Woods Hole Model Boat Show on April 22 and 23. The model boat show is presented biennially by the Woods Hole Historical Museum.
