Mashpee will host its Annual Community Picnic and Fireworks on Friday, June 30, from 5 to 10 PM in the field behind Mashpee Middle/High School. Rain date is July 1. This Fourth of July, Sandwich will celebrate national independence and town pride by bringing back an old tradition: a fireworks show over Shawme Pond.
