He will replace Principal Marc J. Smith when he leaves the district at the end of the school year to become the director of curriculum for Monomoy Public Schools. Mr. Dintino, who is currently the assistant principal of Forestdale, was one of three finalists for the position and the only applicant from within the Sandwich school system.
