Bourne Fire Department paramedics responded to two early-morning crashes on Memorial Day, Bourne Deputy Fire Chief Joseph J. Carrara said. A car and a pickup truck crashed into one another on Sandwich Road in South Sagamore, near the Whaleback Restaurant; the crash caused one injury and left a pickup truck on its side.
