In the race for state representative from the Fifth Barnstable District, members of the Bourne Republican Town Committee have thrown the weight of their support behind challenger Ronald R. Beaty Jr. over incumbent Randy Hunt. Mr. Beaty is currently one of three Barnstable County Commissioners, along with Leo Cakounes and Mary Flynn.
